What should a beginner programmer stop doing (Top 5 mistakes which can make their carrier worse)

Hello guys,

I am a bit nervous now,you know what.since I am conveying my message to our future top notch programmers like you.so if you're a beginner programmer, you would  wonder how other developers or programmers write and run their codes with out any errors and so on!(I don't think I should explain all those things since its quite ambiguous, you get it right).ok then as a beginner programmer you should also think that why am i not capable of writing better codes even if i am working hard enough.

THATS THE QUESTION WHY?

because you aren't taking you to that level of critical thinking,Naah just leave this keyword critical thinking for now and let's move on together.

Now i am going to show you the top 5 beginner programming mistakes which you are being doing even now instead.so here you go:

(You can watch the full video by clicking the image below)

1)Understand what you do

hey i just want to say one thing have you thoroughly covered that programming concept which you're working on or are you just going with a flow like, yeah i am going to complete this in 10 min 15 sec or some what even smaller.my friend open up your eyes and read this if you were byhearting these bunch of code snippets with out understanding or not letting yourself to know on whats going on here then whats the use.

The line below is been dedicated to my memorizing freaks(Only programmers)

The world's most leading text messaging application 'Whatsapp' and the social media giant 'Facebook'.do you think the source code of these applications/websites were being printed on their text books when Zuckerberg or Brian Acton or Jan koum were studying.I don't think so,whats your thought mention me in the comments below.now just go to the above line and skim through the line which I just mentioned about critical thinking. If you're not getting that piece of code which you're stuck now, then you have two choices:)

Skip that (-----) or start clearing the concept which you're working on.Do you want to be a better programmer and want to unleash your power and show up the talent that you have,to this universe. then go to your project what ever it is,and making it working now.

'Don't forget to mention your success in the comments below,I am waiting for your response'

2)Write a well commented code

Do you think you're really a better programmer and can grab anything in your mind to making it happen in reality.hmm if that so then its cool, but I don't think 🤔 you have gone up there, don't get me wrong.if you were one of them who are really mastered in programming then you wouldn't have been here.

just see that sub topic below,do you really do that or just think its a waste of time.excuse me my friend a better programmer is a person who writes several pieces of code and make it more readable and explain the concept behind, like why had i called this function or assigned this variables here etc.when you can explain these things in your own short sentence using single(//) or multi-line(/*--*/)comments.you have to do it and make it a habit,it should only give you wonders and make you more strategically eligible for being a better programmer.

3)Don't compare yourself with others

Hey have you been thought, why am I not like him/her,why can I cannot code like him.why am I not creating better reusable programs like him.Why why why.........?

I just want to say one thing "Now you're in chapter 1 so don't compare yourself with chapter 20"

if you're in the right path and working harder by being smarter then you'll also get there with out much hassle or negative thoughts. So keep that in mind and remove all negative thoughts from your mind and move on my friend.

4)Don't skip the fundamentals

As a programmer, you are using your own desired language for your own purpose, but if you don't know what are you doing, what are the basic fundamentals to make your project to work as you want, then whats the use my friend.if you study a piece of specific concept and just skip to the next with out completing that project completely which you are in now, whats the damn use.You have heard this a lot "Practice make us perfect" but before practice do you know know what should I do to practice this and make it more productive.I just want to say one thing,if you wanna be a better developer then make that clear now.

5)Tutorial is dump(for 99.99% people)

Yup you heard it right its a dump, want a proof..there are some people out there who just watches one video then another then the next one and the next one and so on.

but if I give them a specific question on the basis on what they have studied from the video.majority of them aren't gonna give the correct answer.because there are just following and practicing, understanding only the programming codes which are been shown in the video.

if you want to handle with such type of question after studying any concept from the video you have to practice maximum number of question you can with out searching for its answers and trying to think and explore your logical capability for making a line of code to run as per your requirements and understand the errors which you'll definitely find in your programs as a beginner programmer.

So thats for now guys,Happy coding!
