The PUBG Corporation had said it is planning to launch a new PUBG mobile game for India,this game was previously the most downloaded game in India over 50 million users at the time of its ban.Due to several security reasons PUBG were banned in India on September due to the mobile apps links to china's Tencent.After the launch users will be delivered with maximized data security and cater to local preferences.The company(Krafton Inc) is going to invest $100 million in the Indian gaming,esports,IT industries and entertainment.But officially they haven't mentioned the launching date.
As per the reports the way back for apps and game banned from the country will be significant for Indias digital ecosystem.
PUBG mobile was banned in India on September 2,under Section 69A of the Information Technology Act,including other Chinese apps like Tik Tok,weChat etc.The government took action against it when they received complaints about such apps stealing and surreptitiously transmitting users data in an unauthorized manner to the servers outside India.
To create better security for user data instead of storing there information on servers outside, PUBG mobile will be hosted on Microsoft Azure cloud.The PUBG Coorperation had also said that they will provide certain elements customized for Indian gamers.Some of there features are Character will be started fully clothed,the blood will be replaced to green liquid and will also frame the game in virtual simulation training ground"not real life",there will be also certain limits on how they will be used frequently,which should be helpful for users healthy gameplay habits,Said the company.
There are also plans to establish a local office in India along with more than 100 employees for handling communications and user services.Even there are more bigger plans for India specific tournaments,events and more entertainment projects in the future.
